Purpose of residence: Long-term mobility residence permit for researchers and their family members

General enclosures:

full copy of a valid passport	Mandatory
bank account balance statement for the coverage of travel costs	Mandatory
a statement undertaking the commitment of voluntary exit if the application is refused	Mandatory
a minor applicant shall provide proof that his/her parent or legal representative gave which shall be evidenced by a statement executed in a private document representing conclusive evidence – or an authentic instrument, with Hungarian or English translation	Mandatory
if a representative acts in the procedure, an authorisation issued for the name of the	Mandatory

Documents evidencing the purpose of residence:

host agreement concluded with a research organisation in Hungary	Mandatory
long-term mobility plan (indicating also the planned duration and dates of the mobility)	Mandatory
copy of valid residence permit issued for the purpose of research by the first Member State.	Mandatory

If the researcher is accompanied by a family member as well:

proof of the planned duration and dates of the mobility consistent with the researcher’s long-term mobility plan	Mandatory
copy of valid residence permit issued by the first Member State on the basis of family relationship.	Mandatory

Documents evidencing subsistence:

an income certificate issued by the employer for the previous 6 months	And/Or
income certificate issued by the tax authority for the previous year	And/Or
a certificate issued by the employer evidencing regular income received from abroad	And/Or
a certificate issued by the tax authority evidencing regular income received from abroad	And/Or
a statement from a Hungarian or foreign financial institution concerning the applicant’s bank account.

Note that the above listed documents together shall evidence that the applicant has substantial income and assets that allow his/her subsistence, accommodation and exit from the country.

Documents evidencing comprehensive healthcare services:

a copy of the social security card issued by Hungarian authorities	or
business health insurance policy allowing access to comprehensive healthcare services and a document in proof of paying the insurance fee	or
bank account balance statement on the coverage for possible healthcare service costs.

Note that one of the above listed documents/instruments shall be submitted in order to evidence access to comprehensive healthcare services!
