Purpose of Residence: EU BLUE Card

Documents to be attached in general

full copy of a valid passport	Required
proof of bank account balance to cover travel expenses	Required
declaration on voluntary departure in case a decision of refusal is made	Required
in the case of a legal representative, a power of attorney issued under the name of the legal representative	Required

Documents proving the purpose of residence:

a preliminary agreement concluded for employment requiring a high level of education	Or
a valid employment contract concluded for employment requiring a high level of education	Or
a certificate of higher education or professional qualification with a certified translation	Required

Please note that the documents listed above must be submitted in order to prove the purpose of your stay. If the original documents are NOT in Hungarian, please provide an official translation into Hungarian language as well.

Documents proving your means of subsistence

a preliminary agreement concluded for employment requiring a high level of education	Or
valid employment contract proof of income issued by the tax authority for the previous year certificate issued by a financial institution regarding a bank account managed in Hungary or abroad	And/Or

Please note that all the documents listed above together must prove that the applicant has sufficient income or assets to live, reside and travel.

Documents evidencing comprehensive healthcare services:

a copy of the social security card issued by Hungarian authorities	or
business health insurance policy allowing access to comprehensive healthcare services and a document in proof of paying the insurance fee	or
bank account balance statement on the coverage for possible healthcare service costs.

Note that one of the above listed documents/instruments shall be submitted in order to evidence access to comprehensive healthcare services!
