Purpose of Residence: Hungarian Card

Documents can be used as proof of subsistence

Preliminary agreement or employment contract for work requiring higher professional qualifications if the purpose of the applicant's employment relationship is to carry out actual work for or under the direction of another person for consideration	Required
Diploma or certificate of higher education or professional qualifications if the purpose of the applicant's employment is to carry out actual work for or under the direction of another person for remuneration	Required
Detailed declaration of economic activity if the applicant is an owner or managing director of a company, association or other - established for gainful activities- legal entity, performs actual work in addition to the activities falling within the scope of this activity	Or
Contract of assignment, enterprise, or use ; contract of sale or purchase, invoice if the applicant is an owner or managing director of a company, association or other - established for gainful activities- legal entity, performs actual work in addition to the activities falling within the scope of this activity	Or
Work contract and e-tax return registration form of the employees if the applicant is an owner or managing director of a company, association or other - established for gainful activities- legal entity, performs actual work in addition to the activities falling within the scope of this activity	Or
Agreement between an employer established in a third country and a domestic employer for the purpose of the third-country worker's employment in Hungary if the applicant with higher professional qualifications is employed in Hungary on the basis of an agreement concluded between an employer established in a third country and a domestic employer in order to fulfil an agreement	Required
Preliminary agreement or a valid work contract or a certificate issued by the National Film Institute of Hungary if the applicant is professional sportsman/woman or professional coach, performer or works for a film production company registered by the competent authority for cinematographic	Required

Documents can be used as a proof subsistence

Preliminary agreement	And/Or
Financial institution certificate issued for a bank account in Hungary or abroad
proof of income issued by the tax authority for the previous year	And/Or
income certificate on regular income issued by the employer	And/Or
income certificate on regular income issued by the tax authority	And/Or

Please note that all of the documents listed above must demonstrate that the applicant has sufficient income or assets to support him/herself to live and reside in Hungary and to travel abroad.

Documents proving the accommodation is provided

residential lease contract certifying the existence of a rental relationship	Or
document proving the ownership of the applicant's apartment in Hungary	Or
proof of accommodation booked and paid for	Or
a notarized declaration by the family member providing the accommodation, providing housing for the applicant	Or
a certificate of accommodation provided by the employer	Or

Please note that one of these documents must also be submitted to prove the existence of accommodation.

Documents proving the completeness of health care

a copy of the social security card issued by the Hungarian authorities	Or
a business health insurance policy entitling you to full health cover and proof of payment of the insurance premium	Or
a statement of bank account balance to cover any possible medical expenses

Please note that it is also required to submit one of these documents to prove the existence of comprehensive health insurance.
